Everlasting-Covenant-Church-Of-God-In-Christ

Meet Elder Charles Ewing, a man of great faith and incredible achievements. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Elder Ewing is a third-generation member of the Church of God in Christ. With a full scholarship to the prestigious Milwaukee School of Engineering, he later became a manufacturing and industrial engineer, working for various companies in the Milwaukee area. But his life took a dramatic turn when he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1978 and accepted his call to ministry.

Under the leadership of the late Elder Garnett Herron at Morris Memorial COGIC in Milwaukee, WI, Elder Ewing served as an assistant pastor for 14 years. He visited the sick in hospitals, nursing homes, and prisons, where many were miraculously healed, and some were even raised from the dead. Ordained in 1982, he served on the state communion committee and was active on the Elders council.

As a known evangelist preaching overseas and from coast to coast, Elder Ewing has made a significant impact in the prison ministry, rehabilitating inmates. He is also a prominent contractor, helping renovate both Morris Memorial and Philadelphia churches. His passion for education has led him to help administer two theological seminaries, Wisconsin University of Theology and C.H. Mason Bible College, offering degrees from associate to doctoral levels in theology, all fully accredited. He also helped organize and administer the Dr. Brenda Noach Elementary and Secondary School in Milwaukee, providing education from K-12th grade.

In 2006, Elder Ewing built and pastored a church and school in Cape Town, South Africa, naming it Souls Outreach COGIC and Dr. Brenda Noach Elementary and Secondary Schools. He continued his work in ministry and education, building and organizing Everlasting Covenant COGIC, Bible College, and C.H. Mason Bible College in the state of Missouri. His unwavering belief in God’s word and his desire to love the Lord with all his heart, mind, and strength have led him to be appointed as the State Dean of Education by Bishop Lawrence Wooten.

Elder Ewing’s life story is one of dedication, perseverance, and faith. His goal is to follow God’s word as it says in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” He believes that the Bible is the only authoritative, infallible, and final word of God. Elder Charles Ewing is an inspiration to all who know him, and his legacy will continue to impact lives for generations to come.
